My Teaching Philosophy!

My senior year of High School, I had the opportunity to work in a preschool/childcare center based in my High school.  I have always loved working with children, but it wasn't until I had this opportunity that I began to think about becoming a teacher.  I discovered as I worked at this preschool that I enjoyed teaching children and having the opportunity to spend so much time working with them.  I wanted to go into a profession where I would have the opportunity to help people and make a positive contribution to the world, and teaching felt perfect.
When I graduate with my Bachelor's, I want to be an elementary school teacher.  I want to be able to help each of my students work towards reaching his/her potential and to help each students learn as much as possible about their world. I would also like to work towards obtaining an endorsement for teaching gifted and talented students so that I can be a teacher in a spectrum program.
