I Just Had to Post

Seeing as I am the only human that probably looks at this blog, let alone updates it, I just had to post something before January was over. So, just an update on the current craziness of our apartment. Kaitlin's cousins wedding was this last week. It went off without a hitch, as far as I know. "Without a hitch" is that right? That phrase sounds funny. Kaitlin was the maid of honor so I'm sure that was fun for her. ; ) No, really I'm sure she had fun. Everyone else is moving along with life at normal speeds as far as I know. The weather here has been the pits and we've all just been concentrating on not dying driving to and from places, and not getting our cars stuck in the lovely ice rink of a parking lot we have. Carlos (my car) broke down right after Christmas break, that was exciting (NOT!). But he is healthy now. In fact last week Andrea, Jane, and I went to leave for church and I may have forgotten to grab the car keys. Which not only locked us out of the apartment but caused us to have to walk to church. It was a very cold day. Luckily Kaitlin came and saved us. I really need to learn to make smarter decisions. Andrea is awaiting to put her mission papers in. It's bitter sweet. I'm super excited for her to go on a mission but I don't know what I'm going to do without her. She is probably the only person in our apartment who is even half as crazy as me. I will definitely miss her. That is unless she gets married, then she'll have to stay here. ; ) My best friend is getting married in less than two weeks now. That's weird. You know I thought it was super weird when all my friends started leaving on missions but now all my girlfriends are getting married and that's even weirder! I don't feel old enough to be going to weddings, because that implies I'm old enough to get married, and I definitely don't feel old enough for that yet. Well, that's life as of current as far as I know. Maybe, someone else will finally post?

In Male Perspective

I won't pretend to understand men. Because it is impossible. I will keep to the female species. However, it was quite entertaining to listen to a conversation on the bus between two men discussing their wives pregnancies. I've only ever heard women discuss pregnancy before. It's usually something men will tune out or change the subject on, but having heard their perspective I now know why. The phrase "we had to keep her well fed" reminds me very much of a dog, yet this man was using it to describe his wife. Now, I find this delightfully hilarious, it only makes me curious as to how his wife would feel about this? Haha, oh dear. Well, ya know, if you planned on having a private conversation maybe you shouldn't have done it on the bus. And if you wanted everyone to hear (and maybe secretly be entertained) you succeeded, I was definitely entertained.
